International newsflash: Team Discmania and Innova player Avery Jenkins scorched the Asia Open course last weekend in Taipei, Taiwan. Avery battled with Dave Feldberg throughout weekend with rain, mud and wind. The whole tournament came down to the stretch on hole nro 6 in the finals, where Avery threw two perfect shots, reaching a long 220-meter par 4. At the same hole, Feldberg’s drive found trees on the right side of the fairway and his heroic second shot sailed OB. Avery kept picking those birdies on holes seven and eight. On the final hole both soldiers took pars and Avery got his first title of the season. Congratulations!

And more good news just keep on coming: Avery will be using Discmania PD2 this season. Discmania will release a limited (125 pcs) run of signature Avery Jenkins C-PD2s in upcoming weeks. These fine pieces of plastics are gorgeuos see-through-plastic and are launched to boost our superstars season. So hook them up where ever you got a chance!

Both Avery and Dave are solders? ;)
Well, I guess you could say so, at least taken the wet and muddy conditons ;)
But what comes to Discmania, just Avery is a sponsored player, if that was what you meant.
What’s so wrong with professional disc golfers also fiddling around with electronics, solder away!
By the way, what does the stamp say next to his signature, and will these be available in Finland?
It took me this long to figure out your sarcasm :D
I guess I need to go change that now.. And yeah, so far we have no solders in Team Discmania ;)
And jubuttib: The stamp says
“2009 Disc Golf World Champion
Limited edition team disc”
and yes, these will be available in Finland, Discmania.fi to be exact.
