I’m afraid we can’t give any names. There’s no need to avoid any company based on this. Disc Golf is still a young sport and so are many of the companies involved in the sport. Everybody makes mistakes and all is forgiven on our end. We simply want to educate the people involved with this subject and we hope that everybody will play by the rules in the future ;)

As a graphic designer, I know the perils of copyright infringement well – It’s really tough to police. The best defence is doing exactly what you’re doing with this article: education. I’d like to think the only reason photos are used without credit is ignorance. Any designer worth their salt would never steal or borrow an image without obtaining permission or crediting the source.
