C-line FD release on Oct 8th!

In our seemingly continuos stream of good news, there’s more good news! Our most sold driver model to date, the FD Jackal, will soon finally be available in super durable C-line plastic. The feedback on the FD has been phenomenal and it has broken all sales records in Europe, making it Europe’s most sold disc model of the year. That’s right! And you thought this was the year of the Blizzard. Nope. This is the year of the FD!

The FD in C-line is arguably more stable than it’s S- & D-line versions. For those who’ve loved the S-FD for it’s tremendous glide and straightforward flight path, the C-line version offers more reliability with a milder high speed turn and added low speed fade. What’s great about the C-line version is that while S- & D-FD’s have been too flippy for some power throwers, the C-line version resists power a lot better. Essentially this disc is almost an extended midrange disc – It flies predictably and controllably like a midrange but thanks to it’s tremendous glide it just keeps going and going.

The international release date is set to Monday, the 8th of October but depending on your region, it may take some more time before they are available at your local Discmania retailer. We are really psyched about this disc, hopefully you are too! We believe the FD in it’s different plastic blends is a disc model basically everyone can better their game with. We’ve seen this in action ourselves and heard the feedback from the field, this truly is the year of the FD!

C-PD2 goes OOP, introducing S-PD2

Discmania C-line PD2 Chaos

Unfortunately we have to start out with some bad news: Innova has stated it is no longer able to mold* our speed-12 meathook driver PD2 (Chaos) in it’s stable and durable C-line configuration. The reason for discontinuing the popular model is that the mold takes a lot of the material in the wings, making the top thin enough to allow dents. This causes a lot of warped discs and keeping it in production just isn’t worth the trouble, since the amount of generated trash plastic is too big.

Now we know there’s a lot of big arms out there who enjoy the beefy, take-no-prisoners flight pattern of the C-PD2. The good news is that P-PD2 will stay in production. Even more good news is that we are announcing PD2 in popular S-line to replace the now out-of-production C-PD2. The S-PD2 will be available with the Chaos -stamp in the U.S. & Asia & Australia and with special Seppo Paju signature stamp in Europe. Some of these signature S-PD2′s will also be available in the Flymart at Memorial Championships, so be sure to check those out!

Discmania PD2 Chaos

There’s also fair amount C-PD2′s still around, so you should still have plenty of time to stock up on the Chaos in C-line. Check our retailers for availability. If you weren’t familiar with the C-PD2 until this point, we recommend you snatch yourself one or two: with the durable C-line material these discs wear slowly and stay beefy for ages. With added future collectible value these discs are solid investments for those windy days ;)

C-line DD Hysteria out now!

C-line DD (Hysteria)

Today (October 26th) sets the date for the official release of DD (Hysteria) in C-line material. You’ve possibly been able to buy these from some dealers already and we’ve also done a fundraising project with Australian Disc Golf Championships using this disc among some of our other models. Feedback from the field concerning the C-DD has been great: Here’s a very controllable big distance driver that doesn’t get scared of a little headwind.

The C-DD is your optimal driver for big hyzer shots and dead straight power drives that need to hook left (RHBH) at the end. The First Run C-line material is very durable without being too stiff and it compliments the DD-mold really well. Now, go grab yourself one from your favorite Discmania retailer and find out yourself how the C-line DD can help your game!
