DITG Episode 2: Win exclusive plastic!

As some of you already guessed, just like with the first episode, we’ve hidden a Discmania sticker somewhere in the Backhand episode too for you to spot. Spotting the sticker may just pay off well, since we’re once again dealing out sweet Deep in the Game -stamped discs to three lucky persons with the right answer to our competition question:

The Prizes

For the Backhand episode we’ve reserved 3 exclusive first run C-line FD’s, one for each lucky winner. One of the three key points of the episode is featured on each disc, hand written by Avery Jenkins himself. As you may already know, these discs are not yet available as a “stock” release, so here’s a chance to grab yourself a sweet pre-release C-FD that is not available anywhere else.

The Instructions

All you need to do to make yourself eligible to win is to spot the sticker in the episode and submit us the time when the sticker is visible. All answers must be send as messages to our Deep in the Game facebook -page.

Only answers via the Discmania Deep in the Game -facebook page are eligible to win.

Please note: The sticker is visible for a short time and it’s not necessarily easy to spot. There are logos similar to the sticker visible in the episode in the clothes of Jussi & Avery, but they’re not the one you should be looking for. Additionally there is a sticker on the lawn when the 3 keypoints of putting are shown in the episode, but the winning sticker is visible somewhere else on another timeframe. The one you should be looking for is much harder to spot than that ;)

The Rules

1. Everyone with a facebook account are eligible to participate.
2. The three (3) winners for this episode will be randomly selected from the group of correct answers. All winners will be contacted personally (by a reply to the facebook-message), but we do reserve the right to publish the names of the winners.
3. The competition closes when Episode 3 airs and the winners will be announced on Tuesday, May 15th.
4. The prizes will be shipped to the addresses provided by the winners.

DITG ep1: Contest winners

For the first episode of Deep in the Game -series we had a sticker spotting competition with some exclusive plastic as prizes. The contest is now over, so it’s time to announce the winners: Jenny H. C., Travis S. and Antti K. The winners have been contacted privately and the prize discs will be shipped their way once we have all the needed addresses.

So where was it?

We have to admit that the sticker was not too easy to spot. Despite this, we got just under 300 answers and about 80% of them were correct. The correct answer was of course 1:04-1:06 at the right hand corner of the LaMirada sign. See below:

Deep in the Game Ep 1 – Putting, now with subtitles!

The first episode of our instructional video series “Deep in the Game” was launched just a little over a week ago and it has already gathered over 16 000 views! A big thanks to all of you who have helped us spread the word. We believe information on how to improve your game should be free and accessible for everyone. For this reason, and with a little help from friends around the world, we’ve produced subtitles for the putting episode in English, German, Czech and Finnish. Just click the “cc” button when the video is playing to opt the subtitles best suited for you.

Subtitles not available in your language? Help us out!

We would like to offer subtitles in every language possible, to help the players that don’t speak English. If you think you could help us out by translating the subtitles from English to your language, please send us a message! We will provide you with time-coded text file with the English subtitles from which you can translate the subtitles to your language. If you think you’re up for the task and you master a language not yet featured on our subtitles list, contact Janne from our staff at janne.lahtinen[at]innovaeurope.com. In your message, please mention to which language you are willing to translate the subtitles.

Episode 1 contest still running

Last Friday we posted about a chance to win exclusive Deep in the Game discs. We’ve already received a whole bunch of answers, but especially since we are raffling 3 prize discs for those with the correct answer to our contest question, you still have a great chance of winning. All you need to do is to spot a Discmania sticker somewhere in the background and submit the correct time to us. Easy, isn’t it? Check out the full rules of competition here for your chance to win!

UPDATE: 3 More languages added!

Thanks to some very nice people across Europe, we’ve been able to add Norwegian (Thanks Tor!), Swedish (Thanks Hasse!) and Dutch (Thanks Mark!) subtitles to the first episode. Awesome!
