About Alexa:
Disc golf became a part of my life when I was attending Illinois State University during COVID. During the pandemic, everything was shut down and there wasn't much to do. When my friends and I saw a park with baskets, we became curious. I remember my competitive edge shining through as I realized disc golf wasn't as easy as it looked and I have been determined to get better and better ever since.
I played in my first tournament in October of 2021 and since then, I have played 40+ tournaments over the course of 2022 and 2023. I decided to move up to FPO after taking home 11 first place finishes in FA1 this past year. As I continue to compete in disc golf- my passion, determination, and love for the sport continue to grow stronger.
Disc golf has become such a huge part of my life that continues to challenge me to be the best version of myself. I have set many goals, including making disc golf my career one day, and I know being a part of Team Discmania will only lift me closer to those goals. The sky is the limit.
