I started playing disc golf at 12 years old when I was introduced to the sport by my Uncle and my Dad. I really loved it and I wanted to continue to get better at it. I introduced it to a couple of friends and we were down at the park playing disc golf almost every day during that summer. Eventually I played in my first tournament. It was a local sanctioned tournament called the Circus City Open. Although I was the only Junior player it was a very fun experience to play with some great players. It was definitely something I wanted to continue to do. Later on in 2017, I got a PDGA number and began playing tournaments around the state and later in the year I won my first state title in the Novice Division. I still wasn’t satisfied, so I continued to work hard and get better during the offseason. 2018 came along and that year was full of amazing memories to last a lifetime. To name a few, I won our local King of the Courses in the MPO division, I placed well at Worlds and the USJDGC, and finally I won my second state title in the MA1 division.
I also attended the Discmania Combine, it was an experience that I will never forget and it was how I became sponsored by the amazing company Discmania. While I was at Junior Worlds, me and my uncle realized how big the disc golf scene is and we wanted to create that environment in our hometown. When we got home from Worlds, we created the Beginner and Junior Disc Golf Clinic which is a free clinic for anyone to come and learn how to play disc golf or just get better at it. I really enjoy teaching disc golf and growing the sport. Disc Golf has really became a big part of my life, I really look forward to what the future holds for me within this amazing sport, I hope to be one of the best players in the world someday!
